Hi I'm Nicole

I have over 15 years of experience working in Accounting, Finance, and Business Admin and Operations management. Along with running my own business, I have spent many years working for small businesses, startups, and a fortune 500 company. My journey to NJAT started when I began assisting family and friends with taxes and business setup years ago. After my own experience at a chain tax prep service, and hearing what other people have paid to have taxes prepared, I decided to help my family and friends filing their returns. I don’t believe tax prep should be so costly. 

I decided to establish my business/LLC in 2014 and have slowly grown my client base through referrals. As a virtual business, I don’t have the same overhead of a brick-and-mortar location and can offer affordable rates. I enjoy the process of working one-on-one with business owners who need more than a file in a drawer. I know my clients’ names and stories, and I work with them to achieve success. 

As a small business owner, I’ve experienced many of the ups and downs of running a small business. I want to inspire and motivate others to follow their dreams of owning their own business. Many people don’t know where to start, and that is ok! They don’t teach you this in grade school; but this is my specialty. I will help you every step of the way to set up your business. I want to be your go-to resource when you have questions or need financial assistance or advice.

My passion is spreading knowledge. I want to see everyone achieve Financial Independence, the concept of achieving a level of wealth that allows one to live their best life. It is a mindset of “earning more, spending less and enjoying the journey” (ChooseFI). I believe in continuous improvement and to never stop learning. I like learning new concepts and life hacks that will help me achieve my goals, and I want to share this knowledge with you to help you reach your goals too!

I love my clients! I’ve been fortunate to work with a lot of fascinating people throughout my career. With some clients, we talk once per year, while others we talk more often. I love seeing people turn an idea into a business and watching it prosper. Your financial success is my goal.
